Welcome to Natural Exploration! I’m John Waller, an outdoor boudoir photographer based in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
I was born in Georgia and came to New Mexico in 2021 to get my Master of Science in Biology. There, I studied bats and was given the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of New Mexico. In 2023, I bought a used camera and started taking pictures of the animals and scenes I was experiencing during the research. That transitioned to portraits of friends and eventually to boudoir. I started the business in July 2023 and have decided to keep boudoir as my main genre but still do portraits and nature on the side.
My Mission
At Natural Exploration, my mission is to celebrate the natural beauty of New Mexico and the natural beauty within my clients. I specialize in outdoor boudoir photography, offering sessions that help individuals embrace their confidence and comfort in nature. My goal is to create a space where clients can connect with the stunning landscapes of New Mexico, from the lush forests of Gila to the rugged peaks of the Organ Mountains, as they discover and express their own unique beauty.
