Bringing fantasy to life through cosplay photography, I recently had the pleasure of working with Dari, an incredibly talented Genshin Impact cosplay model. We captured her stunning Sucrose cosplay photoshoot in the breathtaking Lincoln National Forest near Cloudcroft, NM—a perfect setting for this whimsical character.
Creating a Magical Setting for Sucrose’s Cosplay Photo shoot
Dari drove up from El Paso, TX to work with me, and she did not disappoint. She was dressed as Sucrose, a character who is an alchemist and botanist, always studying plants, fungi, and bones. We created a reading nook in the woods for her character to study.

Dari was a fantastic cosplay model, embodying Sucrose’s personality and characteristics perfectly. She posed with books and studied various elements in the woods, bringing a sense of whimsy and magic to each shot. Despite being in the woods, she remained completely focused and dedicated to her art, never breaking character or losing sight of the story we were trying to tell through our images.
Working with Dari is always a pleasure, as she is incredibly professional and talented. We have worked together a few times now, and each time she brings something new and exciting to the table. Her dedication to her craft is evident in every photo, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such an amazing cosplay model.
